Forming an Øresund strategy

Capgemini in Denmark and in Malmö join forces to form an Øresund organization. 
 
After a successful 2005, Capgemini intends to grow in the Øresund region. The initiative is headed up by a joint Swedish and Danish management team.

The Øresund team, lead by Danish CEO John Jaques, will focus on developing business opportunities in the region and achieving synergy by collaborating across the Sound.

“Our Swedish and Danish organizations are already working closely together in the Øresund region, but the time has come to make the cooperation more formal,” says John Jaques in a press release. He continues, “With this initiative we are able to offer clients and projects in the Øresund region a broader range of competences and more flexibility.”

During the next six months, Capgemini in both Sweden and Denmark will recruit 50 new consultants in the Øresund region within Business Solutions, IT and Engineering.
